On Sunday 17 June 2018, team members from DP World Australia’s Brisbane Terminal took part in the annual MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride; an event in which riders raise money to help change the lives of thousands of Australians living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

The DP World Australia Team has participated in the event every year since 2013.

Our 2018 DP World Australia Team comprised:

DP World Australia Brisbane Terminal

  • Tom Boekenstein, HR Advisor (100km)
  • David Curtis, Maintenance Superintendent – Engineering (100km)
  • Brittany Gibson, Stevedore (100km)
  • Greg Muscat, HR Manager (50km)
  • Craig Worling, Berthing and Labour Manager (100km)

Friends of DP World Australia

  • Leo Van Veen (100km)
  • Tony McConachie (100km)

Around $3,900 has been donated to date, with the majority fundraised by Britt Gibson who reached out to her DP World Australia workmates and her AFL Women’s community.

MS is a cause close to Britt’s heart as her mother was diagnosed with the condition four years ago. Read Britt’s interview with MS Brissie to the Bay.

Congratulations – a great effort by all!
